Our Sling Making Process

It begins with a hunt for fabric: not too heavy, not too itchy, not to boring, not too flimsy.

When something makes the cut, it's on to the production floor. We use a single cut of fabric to keep the sling's strength. The edges are four stitch over locked so they won't fray.

The baby carrier is then roll-hemmed for that beautiful finished appearance.

We fold and sew at the shoulder so you [node:678,title="don't ever have to worry about adjusting or slipping"].

Finally, we finish the edge with a four stitch over lock, then a French seam, then a topstitch.

That's a lot of stitching! But that's what it takes to make a HugaMonkey baby sling that will last through all of your kids and still look fantastic!
