Pretend Trips With Cool Baby Carriers

It's a bright warm sunny day, gentle winds carry salt and surf off the waves, the water whooshes in laps, seagulls circle and dive, and baby is enjoying every minute of it with you.

Sound enticing? You bet your booties. If we get one or two days like that, it's clearly a miracle. Most days are fraught with feeding, diaper changing, making strange verbal sounds, dozens of daily to-dos, and at least three changes of clothes.

That warm sandy beach sounds like some kind of dream, doesn't it? Well, unless you happen to live next the beach – lucky you.

If you need something to help you get a taste of that beach, you can always buy things that remind you of those places. You may already do that. Many people do. Scenery pictures, beachy doormats and chairs, island-flavored accessories.

You can do that with your baby accessories, too. Get the baby to inadvertently absorb some of those dreamy beach days. Get a cool baby carrier and take a trip to the park, to the backyard, to the riverfront, or something outdoorsy.

Pretend is one of your baby's favorite games, and why shouldn't you get to pretend, too? Get some pattern or print, or even a simply plain and cool baby carrier to help you kick in the fantasy and take some pretend trips with baby.

Sound too weird? It can't be any weirder than, "Preeetiee baabyy, you so bubby pubby buba boy."
