Our Sling Making Process
It begins with a hunt for fabric: not too heavy, not too itchy, not to boring, not too flimsy.
When something makes the cut, it’s on to the production floor. We use a single cut of fabric to keep the sling’s strength. The edges are four stitch over locked so they won’t fray.
The baby carrier is then roll-hemmed for that beautiful finished appearance.
We fold and sew at the shoulder so you don’t ever have to worry about adjusting or slipping.
Finally, we finish the edge with a four stitch over lock, then a French seam, then a topstitch.
That’s a lot of stitching! But that’s what it takes to make a HugaMonkey baby sling that will last through all of your kids and still look fantastic!

It was great working with you to find the "perfect" fit! Thanks for the emails and for being so great to work with....
