My baby is very small only 5 lbs, is she too little for the sling?

Not at all! Brand new babies need a little extra support. Fold up a small cotton receiving blanket and place it in the sling where the baby's back will be. Place the baby in as usual with the blanket behind her, and she will be propped up. Remember, babies like being curled up. They've been that way for months! She'll be snug as a bug and ready to hug.
