Fun Halloween Stories
My mom is a Kindergarten teacher and gives us cute books for each holiday. I thought I would share the two Halloween books she gave us the past two years because we love them so much we read them year round!

The first, Two Little Witches by Harriet Zifert and Illustrated by Simms Taback (you may recognize him from There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly), is such a fun book to read aloud. The pictures are absolutely stunning and totally darling. My little boy loves the monster at the end (he's cute) and the different characters helped him decide what to be for Halloween. It is a simple, well-paced, cute story.

The second, Big Pumpkin, is also darling to read aloud. My little boy likes to eat roasted pumpkin seeds (the story is about planting a pumpkin seed) and thinks it is hilarious when I change my voice for each of the visiting characters (a mummy, witch, vampire, bat and ghost). You will fall in love with the moral behind the story and enjoy getting to the end.
Do you have any fun Halloween stories you would like to share?
