Destroy Diabetes with Ross' Gator Crusaders

Dear Monkeyhuggers,

In October our friends (Felker Family) will be walking in the Walk to Cure Diabetes. Their son, Ross, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

He has a strict diet, tests his blood sugar levels and takes insulin shots several times a day. This awesome kid gives himself the injections in his arms, thighs, and abdomen. He will receive over 1450 finger sticks per year and over 1450 shots per year!

To learn more about Ross, take a look at this video:

Because Ross love the Florida Gators, they formed Ross’s Gator Crusaders to encourage and support him. They formed the team in order to do two things;

raise money to further the research required to find a cure, and

to provide Ross with support and let him know that he is not alone in his fight against diabetes.

The Felker Family is raising $1,000 to donate to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). You can help! When you buy something from HugaMonkey, you can choose to donate some money. We (HugaMonkey) will match your donations dollar for dollar. That means if you donate $5, we'll donate $5. To help, just look for the donate option near the "Add to Cart" button.

I think we can help them meet their goal and pass it!

If you choose to help us with this goal, please know that all donations are tax deductible. JDRF is an accredited 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency.

My Neice Was Just Diagnosed Too!

My sweet neice, Kaitlynn, age 16 was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes too. She nearly died before the doctors figured out what was wrong with her. I'm so glad that HugaMonkey is in a position to help find a cure to this aweful disease.

Do good, right now

Clint,

I'm glad HugaMonkey can help out as well. Do you remember that when we started HugaMonkey we discussed using the company to put more good back into the world than we take out. I'm glad that we can start to help out now and not have to wait until we're a huge company to give back.
